Fiore di Sale from Biova
This wonderful Fleur de Sel is harvested in a natural reservoir in the extreme northwest of Sicily using traditional harvesting methods. If the climatic conditions are ideal, i. e. intense sunshine and a light breeze, harvesting begins in late summer by hand. The unique atmospheric climate of the salt marshes of Trapani convinced the WWF in 1991 to designate the entire area of salt production as a nature reserve.
The mild Fiore di Sale is the perfect salt for seasoning at the table.
